Ready? Start! Art Market is a videogame themed art market - hosted by Sav Fletcher (@beeflover1)
Videogame fandoms are almost always meeting on the digital, whether in online communities or through playing the game together. Sav noticed the under explored territory of in-person games events that encourage fandom activities that aren't digital, such as art making, cosplay, panels & roleplay!
Ready? Start! Art Market aims to help build community around games in a way that is accessible and enjoyable by everyone - not just those who are competitive players.

Hi there, my name is Sav Fletcher! I run the art business 'beeflover1'. I am an upcoming graduate of RMIT Bachelor of Games - and I have a huge passion for the games community in Melbourne!
I want to help the Melbourne games scene connect with the Melbourne artist alley scene, as I believe there truely arent enough third spaces for games community to grow that isn't competitive, or focused on the industry. My goal with Ready? Start! is to help foster community around Videogames with art as my tool, and to help make games spaces accessible for anyone & everyone whose interested!
RMIT Games Kitchen Club is assissting me in making Ready? Start! Art Market become a reality!
